Oriau a Phatrwm Gwaith / Hours & working Pattern:

  • 21 awr yr wythnos – 3 diwrnod yr wythnos / 21 hours per week – 3 days per week

Diben y swydd / Purpose of the post: Cynorthwyo a chefnogi'r tîm allgymorth i ddarparu gwasanaeth cymorth rhagweithiol, sy'n wybodus am drawma, i unigolion sydd mewn perygl o gael eu camfanteisio'n rhywiol, neu sydd wedi'u hysbysu amdanynt. / To assist and support the outreach team in providing a pro-active, trauma informed support service to individuals who are at risk of, or being sexually exploited.

Specific responsibilities (Welsh below):

  1. Assist the team in providing a frontline support service to those exploited through sex work including outreach work.
  2. Contribute towards providing support- both formal and informal, including practical and emotional support.
  3. Advocate for individuals engaging in support, as and when necessary.
  4. Support team members to conduct outreach work safely- Including visiting accommodations, frontline outreach and attending parlors/ brothels and any other necessary locations.
  5. Attend Operation Pathway on a regular basis providing assistance, and support team members and individuals accessing this provision.
  6. To understand the issues surrounding sexual exploitation and survival sex and challenge the stigma that surrounds those exploited through sex work.
  7. Manage the donations and stock levels ensuring clear communication between Yourself and Team leader when there are low stock levels.
  8. Contributing towards ensuring the Hwb drop in, and outreach vehicle are kept clean, tidy and fully stocked at all times.
  9. To maintain administration processes and organizational case records, ensuring all information is accurate and entered on the case management system in a timely manner.

General

To represent the organisation at public events and similar ensuring that the organisation’s reputation is protected and enhanced.

To actively work in partnership with other agencies and organisations to achieve better outcomes for women affected by VAWDASV.

Participate in team meetings, supervision, and appropriate training.

To work within the organisation’s policies and procedures at all times.

To demonstrate and promote the organisation’s values, culture, and qualities.

To foster a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and innovation that ensures our support and services are safe.

Any other reasonable duties as required.

A current valid driving licence, access to a car and insurance covering business use is essential.
